Two images of a woman during her weight- loss journey

Your guide to keeping on track this winter.

Long nights, autumn leaves and a bed that just makes you want to hit that 7 am snooze. The winter season has arrived, so we’re giving you 5 simple ways to keep your body moving

  1. Plan for slowing down and adjust your meals accordingly; eating well in smaller portions but often can keep you fuelled for longer. Hot pots are great at this time of year and are easy to box up so you have a couple of days planned – avoiding the snack slope of disorganization!

2. Make it a family affair – We can all lack motivation during the winter months, but this is actually when our best work is done.  Summer bodies are made in winter and if you can get your family on board to help you exercise, you can have a lot of fun and stay fit which will only help you feel like you’ve made it through the trap of binge drink and buffets over Christmas.

    3.  Wrap up and keep active – Come rain or shine, you need to keep it moving. Whether you’re putting your wellies on and wrapping up to brave the rain, or putting on a YouTube danceathon and throwing shapes around the house – it all counts, now get to it!4. Find new activities to do for days when you just can’t face the cold. Rest and reset with a Yoga or Pilates session, or go for a walk somewhere scenic.

    4. Set a family challenge with a prize for whoever does the most steps and drinks the right amount of water every day between Christmas and New Year.

What do you think? Are there any of these you’ll be giving a go?
